What separates market leaders from their competition? The key differentiator is the ability to innovate. Businesses failing to think ahead run the risk of falling behind. Employers worldwide are looking for management professionals with the proven ability to identify new opportunities for innovation, improve performance and sustain growth. They see hiring MBA degree holders as a smart investment, and they’ll pay a premium for professionals who hold the credential. In fact, a recent survey of corporate recruiters conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council concluded that hiring rates for business school graduates are the highest they’ve been in five years. An online MBA could prove valuable to professionals moving up in their chosen field as well as those changing paths completely. It is perhaps the greatest career accelerator of any graduate level degree available and is very likely to provide a high return on investment in the long run. Graduates of one of these MBA programs will be qualified for a variety of leadership positions in the corporate world including healthcare, internal audit, information technology, human resources, and finance.
For students pursuing a career in business administration or one of its multiple related disciplines a top tier education is vital to developing the skills of analysis and innovation that are characteristic of top business leaders who can make decisions that are more complex than ever before and who will understand the full scope of an enterprise and its potential in a global economy. Our ranking thus provides a valuable resource in that we have balanced schools’ reputations for offering cutting edge and innovative business educations with other objective factors that play into a “valuable” education so that individuals can get a top tier education for the lowest possible tuition dollar.
It should also be noted that in building our ranking we take both in and out-of-state tuition into consideration. However, it is always the case that attending college in your state of residency will be more affordable and ultimately provide a better return on investment than attending an out-of-state school. Where applicable, any program on this list that is in your state of residency should be considered among those at the top of the list.
